There are a great many books on writing craft. Some are good. Some are really good.
The Writer’s Journey by Christopher Vogler is one such book. Vogler’s work breaks down The Hero’s Journey by Joseph Campbell specifically for fiction writers. If you are writing something epic, something that needs structure and drama and character arc, consider picking up a copy and using it to assist your creative process.
